Cape Hatteras

Once in a lifetime shot.  Torrential rains had created a reflecting pool East of Cape Hatteras lighthouse, between the light and the parking area.  The water had pooled up in a depression caused by the move of the lighthouse a year earlier. I showed up at dusk for a routine round of night photography to find this situation.  Grading of the site will prevent this unique pool from forming again.
